Privacy policy

Bhejly lets creators upload a file, get a link, and share it. This page describes exactly what we store when you use the app or open a link someone shared with you.

If you only open a shared link

You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name, email or phone number. We record that a view happened so the creator can see their view count and be paid for it:

The country your view came from	Views are paid at different rates per country. We derive the country from your IP address and store only the country code — the IP address itself is not written to our database.
Which app the link was opened from (for example WhatsApp or Telegram)	Shown to the creator so they know where their audience comes from.
How long the file played	Counted as watch time for the creator's statistics.
A one-way hash of your IP address, kept temporarily in memory	So one person reloading a page is not counted — and paid for — as many views. It is not stored permanently and cannot be reversed into your address.

None of this identifies you personally, and none of it is sold or shared with data brokers.

If you create an account

• Your email address, and your name if your Google account provides one. This is your identity on Bhejly and the address we use to contact you about your account.
• The files you upload and their names, so we can host and serve them.
• Statistics about your links — views, watch time, viewer countries and referring apps.
• Payout records, if you earn from your content.

We sign you in with Google. We receive your email address, name and whether the address is verified — nothing else, and we cannot read your Gmail, contacts or files.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, your device is issued an anonymous token by Firebase Cloud Messaging which we store to send you notifications. It is tied to the device, not to you, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app or turn notifications off.

Advertising

The app shows ads. Ads are supplied by third-party advertising networks whose code runs inside the ad area and may set their own identifiers, subject to their own privacy policies. Bhejly does not give advertisers your email address or your account details.

Who else can see your data

• Google — sign-in and notification delivery.
• Our hosting provider, where the servers and uploaded files live.
• Advertising networks, as described above.
• Anyone you send a link to. A share link is unlisted, not secret: anyone holding it can open the file unless you set a password or delete it.

We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep things

Files and statistics stay until you delete them or delete your account. Payout records are kept after account deletion as a financial record, keyed to an account identifier that no longer belongs to a person.

Your choices

• Delete a link at any time from the app or the web dashboard — the link stops working immediately.
• Delete your whole account from Profile → Delete my account in the app, or by following these instructions.
• Turn off notifications in your device settings.
• Ask us what we hold about you, or ask for a correction, by emailing support@bhejly.com.

Children

Bhejly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. If you believe a child has an account, email us and we will remove it.
